Rapper A$AP Rocky was detained at the airport in Los Angeles on suspicion of shooting. Information about this was released by the Los Angeles police.
According to law enforcement officials, the musician shot at his friend and injured him. The victim required medical attention and Rakim Myers (rapper’s real name) fled the scene with the other two participants in the incident. According to the victim, the rapper shot her several times. The incident occurred in November 2021.
The rapper was later released from custody on $500,000 bail.
This isn’t the rapper’s first trouble with the law – in 2019 A$AP Rocky was detained in Sweden for participating in a street fight. The musician was detained for a month and sentenced to a suspended sentence.
Before A$AP was arrested, Rocky flew to Los Angeles from Barbados, where he was vacationing with his pregnant girlfriend, Rihanna. The couple left for the singer’s homeland after rumors that Rihanna left the rapper after cheating on her with her friend, designer Amina Muaddi. The couple did not comment on the rumors, Muaddi himself denied them.
