Amy Adams will soon reprise her role as Giselle in Enchanted in the 15-year sequel, Enchanted 2. He talked about what the audience’s interest in the story of his character means to him.
“I’m grateful,” he said privately to E!News. “I am truly grateful. I still love it and it’s still a very special movie to me, so I’m glad that this feeling is shared by others. I hope they see this sequel as a love letter to the first movie and a natural evolution of the characters.”
Enchanted 2 isn’t a repeat of the same old story that fans know and love. This time, the naive and cheerful Giselle will miss the magic of her animated home in Andalazia while living in the suburbs with Robert and stepdaughter Morgan. But after Giselle wishes for a fairy tale with her wand, she finds herself in the role of an evil stepmother who bails Morgan out of her room and confronts her local rival Malvina: “You know there’s only room for one villain in this town.”
