On Tuesday, the Cannes Film Festival unveiled a poster for its 75th edition of Peter Weir’s 1998 film. ᲢRoman show Jim Carrey as his inspiration.
The poster depicts a scene from a Paramount movie where Kerry Truman touches the sky with the clouds as she climbs the stairs, adding the big “75” to the mix, which is the festival edition.
“Peter Weir and Andrew Nichols ᲢRoman show “(1998) is a modern reflection of Plato’s cave and a fundamental scene that invites viewers not only to experience the boundary between reality and its representation, but also to think about the power of fantasy, manipulation and catharsis”, said the festival today. “Just as Truman seeks a lie, the festival, with its famous red carpet on the rise, offers audiences the truth of the artists when they enter the theater.”
The design comes from Hartland Villa.
