Heidi Klum reveals how her Halloween worm costume is made. Spoiler: It took 2 years to develop

Every October 31st, the whole world waits for Halloween for only one reincarnation – a Heidi Klum costume. And the model, who received the title of queen of the most terrible holiday of the year, is far from accidental: what are the images of a monkey in 2011 or 30 years later in 2013 – here we wrote about the most viral outfits of the influencer. But in 2022, Heidi decided to surprise everyone and everything again, and not again. The 49-year-old model “crawled” into her own Halloween party in the shape of a worm, recognizable only by her large eyes and smile. To our overall delight, the influencer nevertheless shared how his costume, which became a cult cult true overnight, was created.

Due to the pandemic, the model has not been able to host Halloween parties in the past two years, so Klum quickly realized that she would drop all trumps for 2022. “I tried to come up with a costume that was super ridiculous but also very familiar,” admits Heidi in an interview with British Vogue. And it took 2 years for the model and the makeup artists to develop this bullshit.

Makeup artist Mike Marino’s team worked on the outfit that Klum always embodied the scariest ideas. “No matter how crazy my urges get, Mike always makes them come true,” says Heidi. -I wanted to be Jessica Rabbit and she said, “It’s okay.” I wanted to be the werewolf in the Thriller video and he said, “It’s okay.” Cloning me five times? “No problem”.

However, at first, Mike tried to dissuade the model from the venture. And instead of the traditional “No problem”, Heidi’s idea was “Huh?” replied with code. But as we’ve seen, the worm still won. First, Heidi was put in a prosthetic shell, in which they had to fully clasp her hands, and then they put makeup on their faces – everything so that the worms and curves of the model were tightly combined with the role.

And finally, when asked by journalists why the preference fell on an invertebrate, the influencer succinctly replied, “There was nothing human this year.” You can see more photos of the step-by-step conversion here. And believe me, you should see it.
