Not tears, just water: “crying” makeup has become popular on TikTok

What are the times, such are the trends – the “crying” makeup has become popular on TikTok. And we find only two explanations for this. One of them is that the stars have started to upload selfies where they cry more often. Bella Hadid talked about her depression in 2021 and accompanied the post with a series of photos in tears. And recently, Nicola Peltz shared behind-the-scenes pictures of her crying and signed her “Mondays” (we get her so well). The second reason for us is simply “who is easy now?” will be spoken.

Make-up artist Zoe Kim Keneally, founder of the crying makeup trend, says her video is aimed at sensitive girls. And then she shows you how to rebuild.

You will need blush and liquid bright shadows. Apply pink blush around the eyes (not just the upper eyelids, but the lower ones), cheekbones, nose (and around) to create a flushed skin effect. Use liquid bright shadows to create a teardrop effect. Apply them around the eyes (again on the upper and lower eyelids) and on the philtrum. Thus, you will create a “wet” effect, as if crying.
