41 years ago, young Diana Spencer married Prince Charles. The wedding was immediately dubbed the “wedding of the century”: a £3 million budget, an eight-metre train, press attention and 750 million television viewers.

Their wedding is still remembered as one of the brightest and most memorable events of the royal family. To this day, fans remember the most beautiful but dramatic celebration.
On the eve of the British Daily Mail newspaper, it was reported that a piece of cake from the wedding ceremony of Princess Diana and Prince Charles (now King Charles III) was put up for auction. Part of the wedding dessert was saved by royal court employee Nigel Ricketts. The piece is said to be virtually intact from the outside, and the piece itself was cut from the bottom layer of a five-layer cake.
The value of the piece is 300 TL. The recipient will receive a piece of cake in its original packaging and a handwritten thank you letter from King Charles III.
