Saturday 22 October the second edition of Feminist book fair in Paris. Some guest author names are better known than others. But we invite you to discover 10 authors you may never have heard of!
What is the feminist book fair?
Created by Giulia Pietrifounder of feminist initiatives clitoral band And Thanks Simone Club, the feminist book fair was held for the first time last year. Also this year it will be hosted at the Espace des Femmes Antoinette Fouque, at 35 rue Jacob, in 6th district of Paris.
This space is rich in history, as it is a flagship place of the Women’s Liberation Movement, which since 1973 has housed a publishing house and a bookstore for women, in order to assert their rights.
The feminist book fair will open its doors Saturday 22 October from 10:00 to 13:00, then from 14:30 to 19:00. Admission is free, upon reservation.
More than 35 authors are expected at the exhibition to meet their readers and sign their books.
In the list immediately recognizable names such as that of Leo (Pop model) or the novelist Isabella Sorente (The woman and the bird), radio host Giulia Fois (They are one in two), the actress Noémie de Lattre (Tree trunk), the blogger Gaelle Prudencio (proud to be myself), or the comedian Rosa Bursztein (The guys I want to meet).
But here are ten other names of authors to discover!
Maud Ventura
Maud Ventura published his first novel My husband in 2021 at the Iconoclaste (winner of the First Romanzo Prize). It tells the psychodrama of a woman who is passionate about her husband, who has less fiery feelings towards her. For a week she keeps an incongruous diary of her thoughts about her and her analyzes of her.
Fabienne Brugère

Dalì Misha Touré
At just 15 years old, Dalì Misha Touré wrote his first book, Confidences, followed by many others, published in self-publication. The novel scars was re-released in Out of reach in 2019. It tells the childhood of a young girl in a polygamous family, who chose to channel the violence she felt growing inside her into writing.
Fia Maureen Kakou
Ivorian poet, Fia Maureen Kakou published his latest collection of poems, Words of fireto Better Call Julia in 2022. She describes this work as “love letters for poetic feminists”, an invitation “to explore the power of women and to honor the strength of their wild feminine”.
Elizabeth Cadoch
