Theory of the day: Elon Musk invented his ex-girlfriend Grimes

In September last year, it became known that Elon Musk and singer Grimes broke up. In an interview with Page Six, the Tesla founder said they were “half apart but still in love.” Elon and Grimes started dating in 2018 after flirting on Twitter. Shortly after, Musk and the indie singer went to the Met Gala red carpet, where she wore a necklace with the Tesla logo. In 2020, the couple welcomed their son X Æ A-Xii Musk. And at the end of last year, with the help of a surrogate mother, they had a daughter with the unusual name Exa Dark Sideræl.

And although the couple broke up, they continue to maintain a friendly relationship for the sake of joint children. Ex-girlfriends often communicate with each other publicly on Twitter and apparently manage to maintain a really warm relationship. Elon Musk sometimes turns to Grimes with anxiety, and it’s impossible not to be touched. Their union can truly be called “cosmic”: Elon Musk is known for his merits in the conquest of space, and Grimes himself looks like from another planet (thanks to his image, of course).

And it seems that it’s not just for fans of the couple. It seems that Elon himself sees Grimes as a “spiritual” girl and says no, it’s not for the sake of a nice compliment. In the BBC documentary The Elon Musk Show, journalist Devin Gordon recounted that Grimes once shared a fascinating theory with him about his exes. Turns out the billionaire still doesn’t believe Grimes is real. What? Yeah!

Magazine OK! shared the words of the journalist: “He believes it is a simulation he created and exists only in his head. It is the perfect partner for him. Yes, it sounds creepy and crazy, but Grimes himself partly agrees. It also feels like it was made just for him.” And we had no doubt!
