Musician Andrey Makarevich*, humorist Mikhail Shats* and political scientist Valery Solovey* sued the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. They dispute the legality of including their names on the list of foreign agents.
The plaintiffs believe that there is no legal basis for their inclusion in the register and that this decision violates their rights and freedoms and is contrary to the Constitution of the Russian Federation.

The leader of the “Time Machine” group was included in the list of individuals-foreign agents in early September. Even before the special operation began, he opposed the actions of the Russian government and criticized the Kremlin’s support for refugees from Donbass.
