The most wanted (and comfortable) flat boots for this fall

Tall, flat leather boots are this winter’s footwear and getting them will be the smartest investment of the season. After years of triumphing heel models and the over the knee (above the knee) version in materials adapted to the leg, now they return with a plus of comfort and in its most minimalist version: smooth (preferably without a zipper) and with a track sole.

“He hated high boots because he thought they were old-fashioned. Trends are a clear example of the malleability of the mind,” wrote the influential Leandra Medine in a post that featured the journalist wearing high flat boots from The Row. Although the price of them exceeds four figures, there are many brands that have already presented much more accessible models for the coming autumn/winter. Mango and Zara have them in black and brown, with a rounded tip and a tall, smooth stick, just as the canon dictates. In Mango and Uterqüe you will also find slightly more robust versions with track soles, which add height, and in Stradivarius we have found a model with elastic bands on the sides that will surprise those who seek them with a special detail. If your budget is higher, you’ll find yours in brands like Ganni (which has them with rubber soles) or in Saint Laurent and Hermés, where their designs clearly reflect a more classic equestrian inspiration.

How do you combine flat high boots? We had grown accustomed to seeing them mainly on skinny jeans, but this year the high boots worn are worn with dresses, shorts and mini skirts, to give them all the attention. In fact, the star look of the year consists of the following elements: mini skirt + blazer (to match the skirt)
+ flat high boots. Take advantage of the last days of nice weather to wear them without stockings and, when the temperature drops, add black stockings that are not too opaque. The result meets all the requirements to be pure
tendency.
