What do you imagine when you hear the phrase abandoned hotel? Of course, these are half-empty rooms, broken windows, mold, dark and creeping creatures, and maybe ghosts. In general, everything is in the spirit of your favorite horror movies. Frankly, we wouldn’t have dared to visit such a place, but French photographer Romain Veynon has it in abundance.
This man loves wandering around abandoned places, so it’s no surprise that he visits the old hotel during his trip to Ireland. According to Romain, he was surprised at the beauty he saw inside. The hotel rooms were covered with ferns and ivy. Many interior items remained in the building, including vases, old paintings, chandeliers and curtains. Moreover, Weynon even encountered a hair dryer, telephone, book and glasses at the hotel.
“When you have the opportunity to explore such an amazing place, you feel like you are in one of those post-apocalyptic movies where humanity has disappeared from the face of the earth and you wander through an empty world,” the Frenchman said. Looking at the pictures, it’s hard not to agree with him.

Meanwhile, last year Romain Weynon presented his book Green Urbex, which features photographs of abandoned places he has visited. More images can be viewed here.
