Text recognition in photos and videos
The Online Text feature sees the text in the video. It also recognizes values - price tags in stores and currency converted at the current rate.
How to use: go Settings – General – Language and Region and hungry Text Scanner. After that, you can highlight words and symbols in a photo or video during the pause.

Lock screen customization
You can now customize the lock screen by changing the watch face and adding new widgets. There are eight clock fonts to choose from. They can be painted in any color palette.
You can also set wallpapers with depth effects and put filters on them. They can be overlaid in direct screen editing mode.
And Apple kept animated wallpapers with space objects: Earth, Moon or solar system. They are updated dynamically – the illumination of the planet changes depending on the time of day.
How to use: Go to the lock screen and hold your finger on an empty spot. Edit mode opens with widgets and the ability to add different profiles.
Built-in duplicate search for contacts and photos
Now your iPhone can find the same contacts in the address book and similar pictures in the gallery. With one click, you can get rid of duplicate entries and clear the gallery of similar frames.
How to use: in contacts after update, find new section Duplicates found (it will be possible to combine or delete similar entries in it), it will be possible to make a similar scheme with images from the gallery. To do this, go to the section Photos – Albums – Copies.
Useful notifications
First, there is a new notification type – Live Events. They do not disappear from the lock screen and are constantly updated. Second, the messages on the lock screen have been removed.
