It’s hard to imagine, but model Kendall Jenner wore masculine clothes as a child and spent more time with the opposite sex (it was hard for her to be friends with girls). In an interview, the star said that she is different from her sisters. “I love being a girl, but unlike my sisters, I’m not obsessed with looks.” And the day before, the runway star visited Jay Shetty on the On Purpose podcast, where she shared how she struggled with negativity due to her massive popularity.

In a conversation with Jay Kendall, Jenner spoke a lot about how easy it was for her at the beginning of her journey. “I would say the first five years of working hard, it was a long period,” the model admitted. Kendall explains that the ability to say “no” is key to keeping her from “losing” herself.
“I just like to sit [перед зеркалом] and tell myself who I am, ”says the media model about situations in which she passed on false information to people about her personal life. “Many people think they understand us before they even know half of it.”
“It might seem really unfair,” Kendall continued. “You might read something someone said about you or hear something someone said about you and you might think it’s very unfair because I’m not like that, and it really does happen to me sometimes. It really sucks,” the model says candidly.

“But then when I look at myself in the mirror, I think, ‘But I know who I am. Why is anything else important? My friends know who I am. And my family knows who I am. My dog knows who I am. My horse knows who I am. why is there something else [имеет значение]? Everything else is just noise,” says the model.
“If your happiness depends on the actions of others, then you are at the mercy of the things you cannot control – and this is definitely not where I want to be,” Kendall admits to the author of the podcast.
