IATSE went on strike Family reunification of the teenage mother, an MTV reality show that is shooting its second season in Bend, OR. The union, which has no contract with the producers of the show, went on strike on labor day.
“The production team of this production is asking for health and pension benefits, which will be passed on to the director’s team,” the union said.
According to IATSE, the show’s production company, Onsite Production, is “actively looking for a replacement crew” and production is expected to resume today. “We ask IATSE members not to cross this picket line to work on this production,” the union said in a message sent to members. “If you are contacted to work on this production, please contact your local union agent immediately.
The second season of the reality show features rival stars Ashley Jones and Briana DeJesus. No release date has been set.
