Trend alarm! Knitted sets are the outfit you’ll be dressing in five minutes in this fall

If you’re up to date on all the trends of each season and you don’t miss a single fashionable item, chances are you’ve already drawn the one that’s one of the most cutting-edge we’ll see this fall: the one to wear with a knitted outfit. Yes yes, as you read. The cotton twinsets -which combine knitted trousers and a matching cardigan in the same color- are more fashionable than ever and will be the most requested pieces in the coming months.

We don’t see them anymore in the new collections of our favorite stores and even some trendsetting it girls – like Jeanne Damas herself – have already worn them in some street style looks that we want to recreate. And we have to admit: we love this trend! There’s nothing more comfortable than wearing breezy knits that are lightweight and very flattering -because they hug the figure- and there’s nothing better than choosing an outfit, especially on days when you don’t know what to wear. How do you wear them with style? We love knit sets in dark, subdued colors that are perfect for fall, such as brown, black, gray or navy. For a more organized look, wear them with ankle boots or boots with a small heel (this will give your outfit a formality) and for everyday wear, combine them with flat shoes or even with good sneakers. When it comes to accessories, take the opportunity to incorporate a vibrant print or colour, through animal print bags, in intense hues, with showy chains or with gold inlays.
