The British Film Institute (BFI) has added five senior executives to its board of directors.
Join BFI President Tim Richards, CEO of the Vue Film Chain: Monica Chada, Board Advisor and Consultant; Elizabeth Carlsen (Carol), producer and co-founder of Number 9 Films; Laura Myel, executive vice president and chief executive officer of Electronic Arts; Scott Stuber, director of Netflix Global Film; and writer, producer and director Edgar Wright (child driver).
Each board member will remain in office for a four-year term starting May 2022. New BFI governors representing Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales are currently being recruited, the body said in a statement. .
The Quintet will join current BFI Governors Michael Birshan, Idris Elba, Gary Fox, Jay Hunt, Robin Sanders, Andrew Smith, Phil Stokes and Nell Whitley.
