The question ” Was your day good? asked the heir after school often does not elicit any answer in him except ” Yes “,” I do not know ” Where is it ” How is it going “.
Well, that’s not how we will know what Jean-Kévin did with his day spent away from the family circle, huh.
But in fact it is completely normal that a little being no longer knows how to develop his response, and does not necessarily tell you right away that he ate with his best friend, that the mistress broke her margoulette on the playground and a ‘ ape entered the classroom at nap time (yes, sometimes the days are full of twists and turns).

A child, especially in the junior or middle section, may feel overwhelmed with a simple question like ” How was your day which is too general and that does not allow him to remember events one by one.
If your child can’t answer your question, that doesn’t necessarily mean he doesn’t, but that he may not know how to convey the facts, the whole thing being too messy for him!
But in real life, there are ways to make him talk (without sticking a Gestapo-style flashlight in his eyes, I promise).
The real questions to ask yourself to know the course of your day
And if, instead of a too general question like ” so this day “, You were interested smaller and more precise events?
As Dr. Siggie, spreading the good news about TikTok, explains in English video, you can get a lot of information about specific events by asking targeted questions.

Personally, during the first few weeks of class, I was quite “frustrated” (well, the word is a bit exaggerated) not knowing what my daughter was doing during her school days.
And since I asked him more targeted questions how “What made you laugh today”, “What do you play most often at recess? “ or “Who’s the funniest in your class? “I collect details and anecdotes about her days, what she does, what she likes, what she dislikes … and it is a real pleasure every night to have information about her life away from me.
If you too are a little angry about not knowing what your heir or heiress does when she is at school, maybe try the more specific questions: you might have some nice surprises!
