“I’m at Cedars-Sinai Hospital and because of COVID they are not letting anyone in, visitors, family or anything, but they did let my family in,” he said. “I found out later that they were calling to say goodbye because they thought I was out of here.”
Dre said his visit to the hospital in January 2021 was “not that serious” because he received visits from his mother, sister and family.
“Because of what was going on in my brain, they had to wake me up every hour for two weeks to do these tests… basically field tests like nose tapping, heel tapping and all that,” he added.
After a two-week stay in the hospital, Dre was left hungry and tired from “not eating for two weeks.”
The artist, who has never felt “in trouble”, said, “I felt fine, I’m just going through the procedure and I’m ready to go home. Some might say I came out stronger than ever.”
The businessman, who was hospitalized, posted a post on Instagram to update his fans.
“Thank you to my family, friends and fans for your attention and well wishes,” he wrote in 2021. “I’m fine and getting good care from my medical team. I’ll be out of the hospital and going home soon. Call all the amazing medical professionals at Cedars. Just love!!”
