In the origin of evilStéphane, a modest young woman, finds her biological father and finds herself immersed in an idyllic setting … which seems to rapidly transform into nightmare. In the heart of a large luxurious house by the sea, the cozy atmosphere quickly becomes strange and oppressive. And for good reason: this family seems plagued by many mysteries, lies and suspicions.
The film marks the return to cinema of director Sébastien Marnier, to whom it is due the psychological thriller Exit time with Laurent Lafitte. This time, the director directs the excellent Laure Calamy, who was awarded a César for her role in Antonietta in the Cevennes. Alongside him, we will have the opportunity to find Jacques Weber, Céleste Brunnquell, Doria Tillier, Dominique Blanc or even Suzanne Clément.
