John Corbett will return as Aidan Shaw in the sequel to the ’90s and 2000s TV hit Sex and the City.
According to Deadline, with Aidan appearing in several episodes in the second season of And Just So, his line will be significant and plot-building.
In an interview with Page Six, Corbett talked about his desire to play Aidan again in 2021, but later only fancied about it. As executive producer Michael Patrick King explained, it would be inappropriate for Aidan to appear in the first season of “Just Like That.”

Aidan was one of the brightest characters in Sex and the City, with whom the main character Carrie Bradshaw had a long and serious relationship. Many viewers fell even more in love with Aidan than with Chris Noth’s character, Mr. Big, whom Carrie later married.
