The actress added that she wants to finish work on the film “Rust”, dedicate the film to Galina Hutchins and pass on the income to her son.
Also in the interview, Baldwin said he feared for his life after former US President Donald Trump made it clear that he believed the actor had shot Hutchins on purpose. Baldwin believes Trump’s “crazy” followers could pose a danger to him.
Recall that on the western set of “Rust” in October 2021, Alec Baldwin fired from a propeller gun, which turned out to be loaded with real ammunition. The shooting killed cinematographer Galina Hutchins and injured film director Joel Souza. Talking about the tragedy in an interview, Baldwin claimed he didn’t even pull the trigger, but an FBI investigation showed the pistol couldn’t fire on its own.
