Shazam, a popular app that helps users find the name of a song they’ve heard, turned 20 yesterday. And the day before, in honor of their anniversary, the authors of the platform released a playlist of the most frequently searched tracks using Shazam.
According to the statistics of the application, during the existence of the platform, users found more than 70 billion songs. Let’s see which songs are the most “shazamed”.
Adele took the first place with one of her most popular compositions, Rolling In The Deep. It is followed by the no less famous Ed Sheeran’s Shape Of You.
Shazam also shared some interesting statistics. For example, the first song available in the app was Jeepster – T. Rex in 2002. And the first song to receive over a million searches is Ke$ha’s (2010) TiK ToK.
