The Rap Snack brand is in big trouble: being sued for collaborating with Nicki Minaj.

The fact is that the company recently released a line of chips called Barbie-Que. Of course, such a PR move infuriated Mattel, who has been selling celebrity dolls for years. Representatives of the brand were shocked by this move. According to them, Rap Snack didn’t even try to negotiate with them.

“They didn’t drop the BARBIE trademark and continued to advertise, forcing Mattel to file this lawsuit as a last resort to protect their rights and avoid consumer confusion,” a TMZ spokesperson said. According to the publication, Mattel is requesting to cease using its trademark and pay compensation. Nicky has yet to comment on the case.
