The star of “Magicians” Alexander Yakovlev died

At the age of 64, Soviet and Russian actress Alexandra Yakovleva (real name Ivanes) died. The cause of death was cancer – the star of the “Wizards” underwent more than a dozen cycles of chemotherapy, but the disease could not be overcome.
Director Nikolai Lebedev shared it with TASS.
He added in a meeting with RIA Novosti.

Russian Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova also expressed her condolences on the death of the actress:
Alexandra Yakovleva was born on July 2, 1957 in Kaliningrad, in 1978 she graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography (LGITMiK). Her film debut was as the stewardess Tamara in Alexander Mitta’s The Crew (1979). Throughout her career, the actress has acted in more than 30 films. Among the favorites to a wide audience are Konstantin Bromberg’s “Sorcerers” (1982) and Alla Surikova’s “Man from Capuchin Boulevard” (1987).
