Keanu Reeves will play The Devil in the White City, directed by Martin Scorsese and produced by Leonardo DiCaprio. Reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
The series will be based on Eric Larson’s novel of the same name. Reeves was cast as architect Daniel Burnham, director of the 1893 World’s Fair in Chicago. According to the plot, Henry Holmes, the first serial killer in American history, reportedly appeared on the territory of his hotel, where he tortured people.
It is not yet known who will play the maniac. According to preliminary information, DiCaprio will not be in the movie, which is a sad situation of course. By the way, at first the film adaptation was supposed to be a feature film, but later the Hulu online cinema ordered the series.
