The Los Angeles Supreme Court has upheld the MRC film studio’s claim against Kevin Spacey, who took part in the filming of “House of Cards.” Now the Hollywood actor has to pay $ 31 million to recoup the losses suffered by the project team.

As we wrote earlier, Spacey was suspended from filming in 2017 due to harassment accusations. More than 30 men admitted that the actor abused them, Anthony Rapp was the first to say so. According to the MRC film studio, due to the sex scandal, the project team had to first temporarily suspend the shooting of the sixth season, then rewrite the script and reduce the number of episodes from 13 to 8.
In October 2020, the court ruled that Kevin Spacey should pay the producers multi-million dollars in damages, but the actor tried to appeal the decision.
