Prince William and Kate Middleton participated in the Commonwealth Games swimming competition, the Commonwealth sports competition held every four years. Accompanied by their daughter Charlotte – this appearance for the seven-year-old princess was the first solo event: before that, Charlotte always appeared in public in the company of her brothers (Prince George was also released with his parents, brothers and sisters).

For the sporting event taking place in Birmingham, Kate opted for a white Alexander McQueen trouser suit (it was already in public during a Caribbean tour), while Charlotte wore a white collar striped dress by Rachel Riley. Judging by the photos, the girl eagerly followed the contest: the paparazzi filmed how she fervently talked to her parents, giving consent, actively gesturing and making faces (all the children of the Dukes of Cambridge are famous for this, but Palm, according to the public, still faces along with Prince Louis, who became a hero of multiple memes thanks to his statements.After the competition, Charlotte met up with some of the athletes who had participated in the Games.

Recently, Charlotte has also found herself in the spotlight thanks to sports: together with her father, she recorded a video supporting the England women’s football team on the eve of her match against the German team – the match took place on July 31 and ended with the victory of the English team.

At the stadium in Birmingham, in addition to the family of the Dukes of Cambridge, there were other members of the British royal family: Prince Edward, with his wife Sophie, Duchess of Wessex, and their children, Lady Louise Windsor and James. He bears the title of Viscount Severn.
