If there’s a fashion print that takes to the streets every summer (and the shops, with the permission of flowers, sailor stripes or Vichy checks), it couldn’t be more different than the polka dot print, the polka dot or the classic polka dots
It is true that these flamenco inspired garments, decorated with these circles of different sizes and colors, are always worn and never go out of style, but it is in the summer when they find a place in our most vibrant looks, thanks to tops, dresses, bathing suits, t-shirts, pants, blouses, skirts and even bathing suits and bikinis on the beach. The best thing about the polka dot print is the number of options it offers and how versatile it is when it comes to dressing. Lighter and more intense colors (and typical of the summer), such as white, red or yellow are our favorites for this season, but we also like more different and elegant options in earth tones, navy blue or black, always suitable for any occasion. How do you wear the polka dot print with style? You can combine polka dot print clothes with other solids in neutral colors such as white, blue or black – remember that less is more – although the fashion of combining and mixing different patterns is on the rise… For finer looks, opt for small polka dots, and dare to use bigger and more colorful dots for your accessories (bags, scarves, swimwear…)!
