Take care of food. Getting back to the routine can be the ideal time to incorporate good eating habits. What we eat is converted into nutrients that the hair receives through the blood and is much more important than what it receives locally. It is important to include in the diet products rich in iron (legumes, liver, crustaceans, spinach), proteins (eggs, fish, meat), folic acid, magnesium, iodine, zinc (cocoa powder), vitamins from the group B (B12 in brewer’s yeast or wheat germ) and collagen (gelatin, seaweed and some meats). With this diet, the hair is strengthened, making it shine and look better. It is advisable to avoid excess fat and alcohol.

Avoid excessive heat on the hair. In the autumn, the use of the dryer will return, as will the tongs, straighteners and other kitchen utensils. It is advisable to avoid its use, as it damages the fibers, but if it cannot be avoided, it is advisable to apply a thermal protector beforehand to protect the hair. As for the dryer, it is good to use it to avoid moisture on the scalp, but always at a moderate temperature and at a suitable distance, and very hot water should also be avoided when washing.

Massage the scalp. When washing the hair, it is recommended to massage the scalp gently with the fingertips. This will help activate blood circulation, more nutrients will reach the root and the follicles will be better oxygenated. The thing to avoid is rubbing the scalp just like towel drying. It should always be done with care, as wet hair is more fragile.
