According to Insider, the sky in Mildura lit up with a rich pink color that scared the locals.
The pink glow turned out to be caused by lamps from a medical cannabis farm owned by the pharmaceutical company Cann Group. Later, the company also confirmed this information. “Often the greenhouse is closed with blackout curtains at the same time as the sun goes down, but last night the blinds were not closed and the lights were on, so it created such a glow for a while,” Cann Group CEO Peter Kroc explained to the cause.

One of the witnesses to the incident told reporters that for a moment he thought the End of the World was coming. “Outwardly, I was a calm, cold-blooded mother who told the children that there was nothing to worry about. But meanwhile, my head was spinning: “What the hell is this?” she admitted.
Previously, residents of Antarctica have also seen pink skies: the phenomenon caused the eruption of the underwater volcano Hunga-Tonga-Hunga-Haapai, which occurred at the beginning of the year.
