Actor Yura Borisov will play Alexander Pushkin in the new musical The Prophet. This was reported by the telegram channel “Movie Distributor’s Bulletin”. The announcement of the film took place during the promotion of the Film Fund.
The film also includes Paulina Andreeva, who will appear on the screen as Avdotya Golitsyna. The role of Ivan Pushchin will be performed by actor Kirill Kovbas.
The film-musical will be presented in honor of the 225th anniversary of Pushkin’s birth and will tell about the writer’s life. The plot will focus on the growth story of Alexander Pushkin, which will emphasize the importance of the poet for Russian culture.
The Prophet” will be released in February 2024. The film will be shot by “Central Partnership” in partnership with “Kinoslov”. The film will be directed by Felix Umarov.
