British author and journalist Tom Bower has unveiled his new book, Revenge: The War Between Meghan, Harry and the Windsors, detailing his relationship with Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, family and friends. Details were published by a number of British media.

The book’s author admitted to reporters that he got most of the information from people who didn’t like Meghan Markle because their loved ones forbade them from talking to her. However, Bauer states that the book does not include information that cannot be verified and therefore he finds it “neutral”.

The author described Meghan Markle as “explosive and unpredictable”: according to her, the Duchess of Sussex “brings people to tears with her passive-aggressive tone.” Also, according to the biographer’s sources, the duchess is very demanding.

The book also chronicles the moment of the feud between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton: Prince Harry’s wife brought Middleton to tears before her wedding. This was due to the dispute over bridesmaid dresses, one of which was Princess Charlotte. They also disagreed on whether the bridesmaids should wear pantyhose.

Meghan Markle managed to get what she wanted: backed by her best friend Jessica Mulroney, who is another bridesmaid’s mother. The last straw for Kate was the nasty comments Markle made about Princess Charlotte, whom she compared to Mulroney’s daughter.

Megan talked about this moment in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, stating that that day Kate “was upset about something, but confessed and apologized.”

Prince Harry’s friends also did not approve of his choice for a life partner: they said he was “just crazy” if he decided to date Meghan, according to Bauer. The biographer describes a party attended by Prince Harry’s friends in Sandringham in 2016. According to them, Meghan Markle’s behavior left something to be desired: The Duchess constantly made harsh remarks to her friends in response to jokes she disliked. After the party, they said Meghan Markle had no sense of humor and expressed fears that “Harry’s world will never be his world”.

Later, in 2017, Meghan accompanied Harry to her friend Tom Inskip’s wedding party. According to guests, Meghan “acted like a princess”, was dissatisfied with the meal and did not want to communicate with the prince’s friends. Many of Harry’s friends said that Meghan Markle changed him a lot.

Bauer also stated in her book that Meghan Markle married Prince Harry to become famous: She thought that “the royal family would be like Hollywood”. However, after it turned out that such a life also means “hard work and little reward,” she stopped liking it. The author noted that Megan’s fame before her relationship with Harry was exaggerated, and the Force Majeure series that brought her popularity was not so successful.

Despite what people say about Meghan Markle, she “succeeded in life” according to Tom Bauer: the author added that she admired her.
