The televised debate of a third Conservative party leader was canceled after two leaders, Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss, left.
Sky’s debate was due to take place tomorrow night, after ITV and Channel 4 held similar debates over the past few days, pitting the last five candidates to replace Boris Johnson against each other.
In the last few minutes, Sky resumed and stated that the debate could not continue without former Foreign Minister Sunak and Foreign Minister Truss.

The two are seen as two fronts, with Sunak currently leading the race in the number of parliamentary nominations. By the end of this week, there will be only two candidates left to fight for the leadership of the Conservative Party and become Prime Minister, with a new person taking office on September 5.
