CBC Kids’ live-action series follows best friends Mitten the kitten and Pants the puppy as they embark on adventures in their hometown of Kibble Corners and celebrate the joy of having different friends.
Premiere on Kidscreen this week, the show, which aired on CBC Kids last month, is from Windy Isle Entertainment and previously purchased by Sky for Sky Kids. It will launch in the UK in the autumn.
Richard Goldsmith, Thunderbird president of global distribution and consumer products, said the Canadian distributor is “looking to invest in more exceptional commercial properties created by extraordinary manufacturers.”
“With media distribution, consumer products and marketing under one roof, Thunderbird Distribution is looking for content that can entertain audiences globally and also become fan-favorite brands,” he added.
The series is produced with the participation of the Canadian Media Foundation, with the assistance of Ontario Creates and the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit, and was created with financial participation from the Shaw Rocket Fund.
