No political party has the confidence of the French in the fight against violence against women

Do we trust the government to fight against gender and sexual violence? According to the results of the Ifop-Fiducial opinion beacon for Radio Sud, the French are far from being fully convinced by the action of Emmanuel Macron and the Borne government in this area.

According to the survey, half of the respondents do not trust them in the fight against sexist and sexual violence (they represent 53%), nor in the fight against domestic violence (52%), nor in the fight against wage inequalities (57%).

We even reach 58% when we address the issue of sexual and gender-based violence in politics.

In reverse, sexual health problems gain more confidence among the general population. A consequence of the rise of the majority on the question of the constitutionalization of the right to abortion, after the revocation of Roe vs. Wade in the US in late June?

This concerns the government, but also all political parties. To crudely summarize: according to the survey, no one is up to the challenge.

No political party smells of sanctity on the issue of violence against women

This is Europe Ecology The Greens at the top of the table, but only with 40% of respondents giving them a place of trust in the fight against violence against women. The ecological party is followed by Renaissance (formerly La République en Marche), then ex aequo the Socialist Party and the National Gathering.

Édouard Philippe, Élisabeth Borne and finally Marine Le Pen are the three politicians who gain the most confidence in defending women’s rights.

In the ranking there are two elected and committed feminists both, but positively and negatively they are Clémentine Autain and Sandrine Rousseau.

Among politicians perceived as the least reliable in this struggle for equality, we find Eric Zemmour, Jean-Luc Mélenchon and Emmanuel Macron in the lead.
