Attention attention, great information you probably didn’t notice (it’s wrong): It’s hot, very hot.
While it’s not a heatwave in the strict sense (well personally, as soon as it goes above 25 degrees I’m in PLS), the heat is there, and you only think about one thing: it refreshes you.
So that’s fine for you, you know more or less how to make your body lose a few degrees of temperature, but for children, how do you do it? And when you don’t have the option of having a swimming pool at your fingertips and you’re stuck in an apartment, what are the options?
I give you some tips that I have used personally, and that will help your precious bacon not to melt like snow in the sun.
Take multiple baths to cool your baby in hot weather
Water is precious, but in case of strong heat it is your best ally to cool your child (and you too, at the same time). The ideal solution is to paddle all day in a swimming pool, but if you live in the city, it’s not the most accessible thing in the world.
If public swimming pools aren’t your thing, you can still get your baby wet regularly by giving him several lukewarm baths with his toys inside.
Do not wet to wash it, but only to freshen it up. Depending on his age and if you don’t have a bathtub, you can still sit him in a laundry basket. Personally, that’s what I do: we take a shower, but we use a rectangular laundry basket, which acts as a mini-pool for hot days.
If you don’t have parquet and you don’t care about sketches, you don’t need to put the sink in your bathroom, you can also install it in the center of the living room with the towels under the basket.
It will be even more practical for you, since a baby in the fleet requires extra vigilance and you may not want to be stuck in your bathroom for at least an hour.
Games to cool your baby in hot weather
The other option, if you don’t want your apartment to turn into Aquaboulevard, is to play without necessarily using ONLY water. Yes ok, I know, I didn’t invent the thread to cut butter, I don’t teach you anything. But do you know what games you can play to freshen the flesh of your flesh? Ah well, you see you don’t know everything.
You can, to combine fun activity and refreshing object, teach him how to do it make a fan. Yeah, he’ll keep it pretty busy, and then he can decorate it, use it, and do whatever he wants with it.
Since I am a VERY nice girl, I also found you a little video tutorial. You see, in the editorial office we do things well:
If you don’t have the motivation or the material to fan, and for you the freshness comes mainly through the mouth, you can also make it. make ice cream super fast, with a wooden stick and fruit yogurt to make it.
Are you ready for the tutorial? Attention, it’s fast: take a Little cheaters or a fruit yogurt of the same type, cry a stick in the middle and put it all in the freezer. Wait a few hours for it to harden and soon, directly in your mouth.
YOUR DAAAAA! That’s all. It’s good, it’s quick to make, it’s cool, what do people want?
Warmth and activities for children: it is also possible
If you don’t want to go out because it’s too hot, you can also invest in a refillable nebulizer and happily water your valuables from time to time, a bit like a bonsai.
You can also invest in a very nice toy that you occupy, develop his imagination and creativity and can make him lose a few degrees: a water drawing mat:

The principle is simple: they are small markers that fill with water e your child can draw with it on the mat provided for this purpose. It has a slightly magical side, because the designs disappear as soon as the water has dried and can start again and again.
You also have the option of transfer which breaks children into old age: two bowls, one full of water, one glass and the goal is to fill the empty bowl using the glass. It sounds a bit silly said so, but in real life it can occupy and refresh, while working on your child’s motor skills.
Of course, in case of strong heat, it is necessary to make sure that the heir be sufficiently hydrated, and be careful not to get a heatstroke, because it’s really less good than a crush or a hit I love you (yes, we have the references we deserve what you want).
Feel free to share your anti-heat tips in the comments!
