Prominent blogger and journalist Yuri Dudya* was found guilty of spreading homosexual propaganda among minors. The Lefortovo court fined the journalist 120 thousand rubles. Information about this appeared on the portal of justices of the peace in Moscow.
According to Ekaterina Mizulina, president of the Safe Internet Association, Dud was fined for interviewing an openly gay activist, Fyodor Pavlov-Andreevich.

Dud, who currently lives in Spain, did not attend the hearing. The court also dismissed Dud’s claim that he tried to challenge his foreign agent status. The blogger was recognized as a foreign agent in April of this year. Earlier, in October 2021, Dudya was fined 100 thousand rubles for promoting drugs after an interview with rapper Morgenstern*.
The day before, State Duma deputy and chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technology and Communications Alexander Khinshtein proposed banning LGBT propaganda among people of all ages in the Russian Federation. He noted on the Telegram channel that this initiative could be discussed in the autumn. In Russia, there is a law passed in 2013 that prohibits LGBT propaganda among minors.
