Harry Styles canceled his concert stop in Copenhagen on Sunday night following a shooting at a busy shopping center near the venue. Styles was due to appear at the Royal Arena at 8 PM local time as part of the European leg of the Love On Tour.
Danish police confirmed in the Associated Press that three people were killed and three seriously injured.
“I am heartbroken with the people of Copenhagen. I love this magic. People are very warm and caring. I am devastated for the victims, their families and everyone else affected,” Styles wrote on Twitter after the tragic events. “Sorry we can’t be together. Please take good care of each other. “H”

The 22-year-old Danish shooting suspect was arrested about 11 minutes after the shooting and is believed to be working alone, according to the AP. The investigation of the tragic incident continues; Police Inspector Søren Thomassen said it was too early to speculate on a cause.
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen shared his condolences on Facebook after the tragic events.
“Denmark was horribly attacked on Sunday night. Several people were killed. More people were injured. Innocent families shopping or eating out. Children, teenagers and adults,” he published. “I send my deepest condolences to those who lost their loved ones. The injured and their families. And to all the Danes who were close to the terrible events. I call on the Danes to come together and support each other at this difficult time.”
No word yet on whether Styles’ tour has rescheduled the Copenhagen concert date. It will then premiere in Paris on July 5.
