After Popular DJ Duo Fired, Vancouver Radio Station Played More Than 10 Hours of ‘Kill in Your Name’

Vancouver’s soft rock radio broadcasts are in full swing today after the release of two popular DJs. Probably the station’s copper is just as exciting as KISS-FM’s returns. Just Rage Against the Machine’s “Kill by Name” ever since. And again.

Among the main lyrics of the song, of course, is “Fuck you, not notaire what you met”, which is repeated several times at the end.

Kevin Lim and Sonia Sidu’s morning duet Kevin and Sonia itself didn’t air last week, but Lim He wrote to the station’s official account on Twitter. They came back early this morning with a “big announcement”. It turns out that the couple started streaming five years after Lim posted on Twitter at 8:39 PM PST. Shortly after the latter tweeted, the 30-year-old began repeating the provocative Rage piece, stopping only to “request” the listener. These demands were, you guessed it, “murder in your name”.

The song, which contains insulting words, is also played on the station’s website. Another repeated phrase is: “You are now in control”; Who exactly is unknown This They’re currently controlling KISS-FM, but it’s unlikely they’ll wear costumes.

And the hack shows no signs of promotion.

This isn’t the first time a respectable protest song has been used to protest something other than its original purpose: police brutality. The track from the Los Angeles Quartet’s 1992 debut album topped the UK singles charts on Christmas Day 2009. A Facebook group was pressuring people to buy a song to crack the song. X factor Christmas has been at the top of the UK charts for the fifth year straight. It worked.
