Emma Roberts has joined the cast of Madame Web starring Dakota Johnson. Deadline reports.

In early February, Dakota Johnson confirmed that she participated in the filming of the movie about Madame Web. Today, it has been learned that Emma Roberts will also participate in the film. The subject of the upcoming project has not yet been disclosed. It is unknown who Roberts will play.

Recall that the movie also starred Sidney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced and Tahar Rahim. It was directed by SJ Clarkson (Dexter) and written by Matt Sazama and Burke Sharpless.

In the comics, Madame Web is portrayed as an elderly woman with myasthenia gravis (an autoimmune neuromuscular disease) connected to a network-like life support system. Due to his health, Web has never fought bad guys. Madame Web is scheduled to hit theaters in 2023. Filming should begin this year.
