Telegram channels discuss the possibility of buying Forbes by Vladimir Potanin and the new project of Ksenia Solovieva
Vladimir Potanin
On June 25, the Antiglyanets Telegram channel reported that, according to its information, businessman Vladimir Potanin bought the Russian version of Forbes magazine.
Dmitry Ozman, the broadcast’s development director and Interros representative, said in an interview with RIA Novosti that this information “does not correspond to reality”.
The Telegraph channel reacted to his words, writing that the negotiations are still “continuing”.
Journalist Anton Krasovsky talked about a possible deal in his microblog:
“Anti-shine” noted that in our “ridiculous reality” this version looks pretty plausible.
– suggested the authors of the channel.
They advised Potanin and former Vogue editor-in-chief Ksenia Solovieva, who said in a recent interview with Katerina Gordeeva that she was working on a new project concept and was talking to investors.
Ksenia Solovieva
– posted an insider “Anti-shine”.
However, the telegram channel “Heroine of Tatler” offered a different solution.
Earlier, in April, Interros from Potanin announced that it has acquired a 35% stake in TCS Group from Oleg Tinkov’s family.
Recall that since June, the Russian Forbes magazine has temporarily suspended the publication of the print version of the magazine due to the withdrawal of advertisers and increased production costs. Özman assures that the decision is not related to Forbes headquarters’ requirements or license to publish the publication.
