“Dark Day”: Billie Eilish Criticizes Supreme Court Abortion Order From Glastonbury Stage

Billy Elish, from his position on the Glastonbury stage, vehemently opposed the US Supreme Court ruling that questioned his constitutional right to abortion.

The 20-year-old singer told a large crowd in front of the pyramid stage: “Today is a very, very dark day for women in the United States.

“I’m going to say this because I can’t think anymore.”

He dedicated his song to the abusive elders, “Your strength,” to all those affected by the decision announced this morning.

Elish’s appearance at Glastonbury made him the youngest solo headliner in festival history.

Another artist protesting the decision was public star Phoebe Bridgers, who appeared on stage with John Peel and criticized “former Supreme Court justices who tried to tell us what to do with our bodies.”

The ruling replaces the landmark 1973 lawsuit and subsequent 1992 decision, Planned Parenthood v. Casey. This largely held back the right.

“The Court finds that the right to abortion is not deeply rooted in the nation’s history and tradition,” the court said Friday. Said.
