Russian models, a tribute to Virgil Abloh and Audrey Tautou at the Ami fashion show: how was the third day of Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week is in full swing – brands are presenting men’s collections for the spring-summer 2023 season. Lemaire, Givenchy, Y / Project, Bianca Saunders, Egonlab shows have already been held in different locations of one of the main fashion capitals and are among us in the future Dior, Loewe, Hermès, Marine There’s Serre, Kenzo, Thom Browne, and Celine.

And as all the street style heroes and fashion influencers prepare for the next event, we tell you how day three of the fashion craze went. Believe me, very interesting things happened.

Let’s start with perhaps the most touching moment of yesterday – Kendrick Lamar’s performance at the Louis Vuitton show. The rapper voiced Long love Virgil at the very end of the show.

At this point, the models walked the runway with a rainbow flag, a nod to Virgil Abloh’s debut for Louis Vuitton. Recall that the creative director of the brand passed away on November 28, 2021.

The show itself was held in front of the Louvre, and the podium looked like a giant playground.

Abloh’s team worked on the creation of the collection (the brand has yet to find its next creative director), so Virgil’s aesthetic has been a red thread throughout the show. And the concept of childhood became the basis of the collection. Hence the “toy” accessories, sheer prints and bright accents.

There were also some Russian models at the shows yesterday. For example, Oleg Sedantsov, the lead singer of the Pikchi group, walked on the Rick Owens runway, and Vlad Prudnikov, a model from Volgograd, walked on the Louis Vuitton playground.

The third day of Paris Fashion Week ended with the Ami fashion show, opened by French actress Audrey Tautou. In this decision, many referred to the cult film “Amelie” by Jean-Pierre Jeunet.

In one of the scenes of the painting, the hero Totu went to the Sacré Coeur to return Nino’s photo album. But now she is not hiding behind a scarf and sunglasses, she walks the catwalk with a confident gait. Cara Delevingne also appeared on the Ami show and Kristen McMenamy closed the show.
