“Sometimes I think they’re rabid”: Ryan Reynolds on mistakes and parenting

The day before Ryan Reynolds opened during the “Creativity at the speed of culture” discussion as part of the Cannes Lions festival in France. The actor talked about how important it is to learn from your mistakes, draw conclusions and pass the knowledge on to your children.

Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively have three daughters. “I am the parent of three girls. They are wild. Sometimes I think they have rabies. I only have one moment where I fell apart. “The interesting thing is not what you do now, but what you do afterward,” Ryan said.

As the actor put it, it was his “brutal mistakes” that gave him more inspiration and insight than any of his “successes” in Hollywood. “I told my kids, ‘Don’t waste your mistakes.’ When you make a mistake, it’s easy to feel shame and consumed by the thought that you’ve done something wrong, but you also need to look critically and use it as a stepping stone to know something deep,” she said.

Recall that Ryan and his wife, Blake Lively, met while working on the movie “Green Lantern” in 2010 and have been inseparable since then. Despite being together for all these years, the stars continue to be kind to each other. It looks like we’ll remember the actor’s look at his girlfriend at the Met Gala 2022 for a long time.
