Yuri Shatunov

The soloist of the group “Tender May” Yuri Shatunov passed away. He was 48 years old. It was reported that the singer died of acute heart failure in the ambulance on the way to the Domodedovo hospital. The manager confirmed his death to the Zvezda TV channel. According to the Mash telegram channel, last night Shatunov called an ambulance, complaining of heart problems. Doctors diagnosed acute myocardial infarction.

The group “Tender May” was founded in 1986 in Orenburg. Students of the local orphanage became its participants. In the 1980s and early 1990s, the group had incredible success and gathered stadiums. Shatunov himself quickly became one of the main idols of young girls in the USSR. The most famous song of “Tender May” was the song “White Roses” performed by Shatunov.
