Prince William and Kate Middleton ended their Caribbean tour with a visit to the Bahamas – the royal couple reached the end of their week-long trip on March 24.

The Duchess of Cambridge got off the plane in an aquamarine gown by designer Emilia Wickstead, referencing the Bahamas flag. Alongside officials and military personnel, the couple were greeted by eight-year-old local resident Ania Moss, who presented the couple with a bouquet of flowers.

Shortly after their arrival, Kate and William went to the traditional Giancanu festival in Nassau with music, dance and colorful costumes after visiting a local school despite the rainy weather and meeting with healthcare workers who are bravely fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

The next day, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took part in a sailing race.

In the evening, a gala reception was held at Baha Mar Resort, hosted by Sir Cornelius Alvin Smith, Governor-General of the Bahamas. Kate appeared in a turquoise satin dress by British designer Phillipa Lipley.

Kate and William are also scheduled to meet with representatives of the Coral Vita project, one of the winners of the Earthshot Award established by Prince William.
