Star Wars’s flying motorcycle has become a reality

Apparently, the science of science fiction has been one step closer to reality. Polish company Volonaut introduced a flying motorcycle from the legendary film epic “Star Wars”. According to the New York Post, the device doesn’t just look amazing – it really flies at the request of developers and can speed up to 200 km/h.

At the beginning of the year, after appearing a video with Aerobike flight, an unusual transportation was known. The video quickly became viral, but it caused many doubts: users suggested that they do something created using computer graphics or neural networks in front of them. However, Volonaut claims – real staff, ineffective and real work prototype is caught.

According to the founder of Tomash Patan, the bike is equipped with a reactive engine and a patented stabilization system that makes control as simple as possible. Patan said he just dreamed of creating futuristic transportation, but also dreamed of creating a complete flight agent worthy of the box office record -breaking set. And according to him, the team was successful: the device looks like a sports motorcycle, but knows how to fly.

Volonaut plans to publish a limited series of such bikes £ 649,000 (about 70 million rubles – at a price – Approximately. Ed.). In addition, the company is working on a commercial version at a maximum of 101 km/h, which will correspond to the ultra light aircraft category. This will allow owners to control the device without a pilot license – the main issue is to avoid densely populated areas.

So far, the company has been preparing a preliminary version and promises to publish the official staff of the first flight in 2026. As of August 1, the pre -registration will begin for those who dream of being a pilot of the future. They promise training with professional trainers for safe and confident management, including a motorcycle.

By the way, this is not the only scientific discovery inspired by cinema. We have previously written that scientists have recreated Lutovolkov from Thrones.
