H&M accused of discriminating against Russians
A lawyer from Primorye has filed a lawsuit against buyers for ethnic discrimination against H&M, which previously suspended its work in connection with the Russian military special operation in Ukraine. It is reported by TASS.
Lawyer Dmitry Kachan considered that by refusing to buy brand products on the company’s website, the company violated the rights of Russian buyers. He noted on his official website that there is a product “in stock”, which indicates the cost in rubles and the possibility of delivery, but it is impossible to order in Russia.
Dmitry Kachan announced his claim.
He added that by law, if there is a product on the site, the store has no right to refuse to sell it. In addition, he noted that the brand’s stores in Russia were closed not “due to forced conditions”, but at the request of company leaders.
Previously, it was known that many of the Western companies that have suspended their work in Russia will be sold and will continue their activities in the country under new names.
