Disney sued artificial intelligence for copyright violations

Disney and NBCuniversal began a hearing by blaming the copyright violations against the developer of Midjourney Artificial Intelligence. Reported by Axios.

The complaint filed at the US Regional Court in Middle California, Midajney is a case in both direct and secondary violation of intellectual property rights. It is claimed that the company uses studio writing to teach the language model and creates images that copy her characters.

As evidence, dozens of visual examples show how the Midjourney tool of the NBCU MINIONS or “King of Leo” and “Aladdin” form the same images with characters such as Disney Heroes.

Kim Harris, the vice president of NBCuniversal, expressed his position on digital piracy: “Theft is theft regardless of the technology used and this action is related to an ugly violation of our royalty right.”
