Master and Margarita’s director filed a lawsuit against American producers

The scandal exploded around the rights of the film adaptation of the Novel of Cult of the Master and Margarita in Mikhail Bulgakov in 2024. Producers Svetlana Migunov-Dali and Grace Lo announced that the rights of adaptation of English adaptation were acquired and prevented the publication of the film by the US producer Mikhail Lokshin.

The company, directed by Luminosity, appealed to Migunova-Dali and Luo’s allegations, filed a lawsuit in the California Regional Court.
